Boring - Don't know what you folks are on about! We've had our best rain for months down on Westernport overnight. Woken up several times by heavy downpours. Lots of puddles forming and all the usual runs have water flowing. Some sun on the weekend will green things up nicely. I'd guess maybe twenty...

Warm front, cold front, doesn't matter.it's been showery since mid arvo and raining now fog the last half hour or so. Totally saturated now with paddocks all holding surface water and creeks, drains (and roads) all running.
Snowing and -2 at Mt Buller as well.

If these same NW in feed systems stick around through spring, then we will have some conditions like 2010. Lake Eildon has been one area north of the ranges that has largely missed out on recent events. Overdue for a direct hit. 75 - 100mm over the lake and catchment would be very welcome. Send it d...

Awesome wintery system and up to 11mm here now. Plenty of puddles forming in the low spots. That's a cracking low off the sw and a better sat pic you won't see. Hopefully something for everyone by weeks end.

Got under a nice narrow stream finally and have had over four hours of steady light to moderate rain with a few heavy periods as well. Luv it! Maybe some more overnight as well and then very pumped for the rest of the week. Up north looks pretty crazy on both sides of the country. I think the outcom...

Really complex and cool stuff down here. Went from balmy with bright sunshine to being engulfed by a really active spring type storm. Lots of thunder and lightning, heavy rain all over in 10 minutes. Light drizzle now but sun trying to poke trough again. Note: check out the radar for Nortern NSW. So...

Cracking winters day down here with regular showers and hail all day long. Turning out to be a ripper event for the alps as well. Just had a look at the snow cams - near white out at buller and baw baw, falls and hotham a bit clearer but I'm sure they'll get their share by the morning.

Well it may be a little warmer than first forecast but we are really copping the brunt of these showers at western port and it is very wet and very wintery even if we don't see the low level snow. Plenty of thunder about last night and again this morning with the passing showers. Another good system...

Well a wet start down on the peninsula this morning following a windy night. Very wintery.
The cold pool looks pretty impressive on the sat pic too. Basically dominates the entire image sw of vic and the rain band.

Well it's now been 15 hrs without stopping so an awesome event down here (and across much of the State). Just drove back down the Monash - all the creeks and drains spilling outside of their banks. A big tide too, due to the low pressure at the moment, holding things back so plenty of water everywhe...
