Lake has risen 85cm this month on average rainfall.
G-M Water have some tough decisions to make in regards to controlling the lake level.
Expect outflows to increase by early July, depending on rainfall of course!

Yes John, this morning' Weekly bulletin had Mt William on 146mm.

Not the highest, Ned' mates @ Canary Island sat on 211mm.

40mm since 9am, 60mm in total for the event. Drive from Deepdene to Donny East was "interesting". Significant patches of water on Mont Albert Road in Surrey Hills as well as Whitehorse Road opposite the fire station in Box Hill. Silly coppers choose tonight to set-up the Booze bus :P Other than that...

With all due respect to the BoM, are you able to provide us with the criteria that needs to be met before a Road Weather Alert is issued.

It seems that we are well behind other states when issuing same.

BOM chart resembles the chart that Jake has posted.
Likely storms from a line E of Yea. Chance of storms to the west of Yea.
Heavy cloud cover will inhibit development, but still a chance. Flash Flooding most likely.

Any updates on wind speeds out in the burbs/country?
