2 mm of rain this morning and a steady 3 C. Feels like snow weather for us but so far none. (In contrast to the 17th when there was no hint of snow, forecast or otherwise, and we had a 20 minute blizzard!) I'm heading to the coast for the rest of the day so my next meaningful reports won't be until ...

Nafets, Eildon is rising impressively for June - last time it was higher at this time of year was 2001! http://www.g-mwater.com.au/water-resources/storage-levels/ I'm guessing its still short of the Bonnie Doon Bridge, but not for too much longer at this rate. 27 mm our total for this event, 74 mm f...

Thanks for the welcome Sniper - no pics, we usually get a couple of decent snow-on-the-ground events each winter so I save the camera for those. Temp. back up to 6 C so snow chances obviously gone for now. Still, a nice surprise while it lasted. Btw crazy winds just before the snow really started. L...

After months of lurking on this great forum, finally decided to post after a totally unexpected blizzard here at around 10 this morning. (Here being a hill top south-east of Ballarat, 610 m asl). Excitedly phoned the BOM thinking they might be interested given the vast discrepancy between their fore...
