Indeed, was a very crisp, misty morning here, almost felt like Autumn! The ground was thick with dew, RH sitting on 97% and it was 5.4c at 5am. Stunning day out there, should top 21c today

Just perfect today, warm sun and light wind, gorgeous! Really pretty skies too, lots of whispy cirrus moving across from the west, and little bits of cumulus fractus meandering in from the east.

Bit of "ooomph" in these showers! Just had our first one of the day, and pretty squally it was, with a bit of small hail and very gusty wind. Much colder today too.

Best mornings of the year now, cool and crisp and clear skies. Only one cloud in the whole sky this arvo, had uninterrupted 360 views and the only cloud was over warburton way and it wasnt much to see.

Wow, shorts weather two days in a row here in Macedon. The season has finally turned from cold to warm. It took a long time.

Oh gawd! 200 people at a wedding on the lawn at work today and it looks a brown mess - and we're going to our friend's wedding there tomorrow morning :o
Was only a bit drizzly and misty too, doesn't take much rain to make things waterlogged up here! Looks like an early trip to work in the morning (I don't work weekends normally) to try and make it presentable for them, wish me luck! Just hoping the forecast rain stays away 'til afternoon!

Good luck Geoff. It certainly was a miserable day. We had thick mist all day in Ferny Creek.

Such a shame, I felt his post had a certain poetic quality not before seen on the forum, can we save it for posterity? Goodbye Flightsimmer! :roffl:

Kind of disappointed I wasn't quick enough to see what all the fun was about!

Pays to be up at 2am by the sound of it, greeny!

Come on, someone who read it give us a run down...even if it's just a PG version. For Twister to say it was the most amazing thing he'd ever read on a forum it must have been something...

The mods may be able to give more details if you ask nicely, but from my memory at 6.30am this morning it went along the lines of complaining (in the fruitiest language imaginable) that he wanted a place with hot, stormy weather, and did not care for Melbourne's cold damp weather, suggesting we could insert it into a certain part of our anatomy.
Have I said too much??? :o :?

lol, classic! Needs to move to QLD or Oklahoma by the sounds of it...

Ah, just goes to show all of us here (maybe some of us more than others) take the weather way too seriously!

Moving on to more pleasant things... Weather lol! Absolutely gorgeous day today, I took the boys down to the nets for a bit of practice late this afternoon and ended up managing to get myself burnt - at 5pm in the afternoon!!! The sun is certainly getting her sting back :)

Looking forward to this weekend and getting away for a few days (if only to see Lake Eildon finally/maybe/hopefully reach 100%!!!) :D

A bit off topic but it is amazing that Eildon has managed to stall with 2cm to go until full.

Nice little run of weather we've been having lately. Not looking forward to Friday though as we may get our first washout of the season this week :| Oh well, in any case it's better than last year's cricket season ;)
