Photo from Ferny Creek this morning looking over the eastern burbs of Melbourne toward Mt Macedon.

Did my MTD sum (properly). On 60mm so tracking ok - a touch behind where we should be. EC showing something pretty significant mid to late next week.

Down to minus 1.0c here this morning after minus 0.5c yesterday, frost everywhere my birdbath was frozen over.
Another Sunny day on the way though.
Rainfall Update my MTD is 45.0mm's - Ballarat Airport 40.8mm's.
Both daytime and Night time temps are tracking almost one degree below average for May so far.

I was holding out hope for a decent wet cold Winter in Hobart when we had that freezer a few weekends ago. Now I'm looking concerned with these never ending massive front killing highs like the last 2 weeks. Hobart today is so sunny and the winds from north so light it feels like March not mid May. Let's hope the blocking Highs go away this Winter, but I'm not liking the patterns coming up to fill me with any confidence.

A rather uneventful period of calm conditions here before the next system arrives Wednesday next week.
It's quite nice out in the sun, although chilly in the shade.
Heading down to the island after work for the first time in weeks. :D
