3.5mm here. We seemed to dodge the worst of the wind thankfully.
Unfortunately we didn't escape the disgusting filth this morning. It was shocking at 5:30-6:00am for my morning walk with the dog.
We had a similar amount of rainfall here which pretty much amounted to nothing thanks to the wind.
Onto the next pointless weak fake cold front.
Caroline Springs, Melbourne's meteorological boredom zone.
2.8mm's overnight here in Sebas MTD 79.6mm's. 1.8mm's at the Airport their MTD 73.2mm's.
Was a good start to the month Rainfall wise but just piddly amounts since then no daily
falls of over 3mm's since the 6th. Looks like that will continue as no heavy rain in sight.
Quite windy earlier. 0.2mm so far from a quick passing shower. Dog got multiple walks yesterday so he seems happy
Normally I'd be looking forward to rain and cold here ie. translating to snow in the mountains (and snow skiing, or snow mountain biking!) ... but given the current situation a run of nice warm weather with rainfall overnight would be preferable!
Nice morning in the Nongs with light wind. Some showers and the odd storm moving up on southwest Victoria ATM. Meant to fade, but currently looks quite impressive on the satellite.
April so far in Tasmania Mt Read 382mm, Butlers Gorge 160mm, Strahan 146.8, Fingal 146.2, Sheffield 143.6, Launceston Airport 120.6, Wynyard 120.6, Swansea 79.4, Hobart 65.0 mm, St Helens 52.4,
Big totals on the west coast of Tas I wonder if Mount read could push 500mm this month as number of fronts in the coming days.
Also gonna be a wet winter down there West Tas gonna be soaked in a few months with im sure 1 to 2m of rain in some spots in coming months
5mm from the front the other day 130mm MTD crazy easy be 150mm for the month i reckon and almost 500mm first 4 months if that happens and the very wet year will only get wetter.
Showers tomorrow for the west and i hope North Vic does well on the weekend with the next front be prefect atuamn break widespread 10-20mm if came off then a huge front mid next week and big cold outbreak right on time to start our 5 to 6 months winter lol
Weak front showing up in the Bight for tonight. Perhaps a few mm's in parts of the south. Much stronger fronts for next week - one on Sunday and then a potential major cold outbreak around Wednesday or Thursday. Been a while since our last decent system so will be nice to have something weather related to talk about
