7.1C for a max and 0.4mm of rain for the last day of winter. Am struggling to see the next event. Looks like ten days of fronts more typical of March than September. Temperatures look quite mild, with a few days in the 20s.
Yeah, forecast looks rubbish. Things will dry out again and our big dams remain less than half full. One hopes the La Nina hangs around and IOD goes negative.... Still waiting

Yes that's about it, if its 6 weeks to rain it will be too late for the farmers. Only a weak iod influence and now modeled to getting less from here on,
though bom should update later today, Nina might help but the synoptic pattern needs to as well.

Most crops, particularly East of here, probably have just enough to get through a drier than normal Spring. Finishing rain in late-Sept and October would help margins though, as long as it's not too much. EC ensemble shows up a decent inland Low around Sept 14 that could help.
Yep pattern has completly shifted after the cold outbreak.
Mild, windy few weeks ahead, this is really going to dry out the crops in SA Vic and maybe Nsw but they have done really well.
Hopefully these dry few weeks end with a big rain event late September.
Could see 30c in the NW tomorrow or next week big shock after last few weeks.
Hopefully pattern shifts to wet in a few weeks dont mind if doest rain here next few weeks its the inland that will hurt so wet here.
Intresting times loving the wramth coming up Sun Mon could be amazing

Snow is holding up well, still a little bit of snow about 1100m asl or a little lower on the ranges.
Not enough to take a picture of, since I don't have enough zoom, but pretty amazing it's held up for a week+ with the warm weather.
And still a little bit of snow at that kind of elevation today, it's less visible though, had to use a binoculars to confirm it. It's amazing what difference 100-200m makes in keeping the snow cover.
