I have used redbubble for my photos as I had flickr accounts, icloud accounts and several others. I saw a guy selling t-shirts recently, one of the images was mine, so I have given up on free sites...

here is a sample of my work:

taken out over the brindabella mountain range, from Mt Ainslie


Taken from Mount Ainslie, the lit area is the Executive Squadron at canberra airport


Again, same storm, but the runway is in the foreground this time.


I have tried taking photos of fireworks, so as to gain experience in delayed exposures as well. These are from the Australia Day Fireworks, 2012.

these photos were taken on a cloudy day - the beams of light were all over the place, shooting through the gaps in the clouds. The sunset got a laser effect as it struggled to shine through.

Fantastic images there Peter, your firework ones turned out really well. Keep'em coming.

Last night, while setting my camera up for D-Lighting (Nikon D3000) I got a couple of surprise photos.There was this one:



this one - the cloud is low enough to reflect the top of the tower:



and this one:



somebody could tell me that there was dust in the air, but primarily it was caused by the orange streetlights reflecting on the clouds.

Tonight, there were two fronts coming in from the north - one tracking past queanbeyan and one near gungahlin. Here are the shots I got:

the "small hills" are Mount Ainslie & Mount Majura.

from Mount Ainslie, the cell was even bigger than I thought:

here is on that I forgot to put up - got no lightning out of it but it was a massive rolling structure in the heart of a storm...

couple of shots from tonight's storm, out the back of home under the pergola. If there wasn't an antenna in the neighbor's yard, it would have been perfect.

Wow. Look how solid that anvil is. Holy . There would of been some serious hail in that.
