Yep no rain since you posted YS …...15-20 knots forecast all next week with possible showers...

And I thought the winds were easing off...a bit of rain might be nice though ..its certainly drying off fast around the place...

march flies have started a slow burn..no doubt a bit of rain will hatch out a swarm..

We have had some "mini" showers 😂 over the past few days, a few little drops and that is it.
Although we got 1mm early Monday morning from a brief heavy shower.
At least the night time temps have started to warm up a bit!

So over this wind..Trying to paint gate posts and bull rails , and the paint is drying on the brush or blowing off all over me..

Yeah we could use a shower or 2 , just waiting on a good fall to start a spray run.
Been a strange season with the long wet nothing grew , now with the wind and no showers still not getting much growth.
Thats ok for the lawn , but some feed would be nice.

Cheers

I think they could be a lot further up the river , past the Daintree village...
I have Vegan neighbors , that keep their gear on as the go past our place, but who knows what they get up to .

Yep Dormant , nice little showers last night and this morning.

Cheers

My mowerman,- as well as all the others around town, will be happy to see this rain.
June 'til around November are very lean times for these guys.

Another 9.5mm here in the past 4 hrs. Ned, we had neighbours up the back of us a while back, who attend the "roots and fruits" festival there :o

No wonder weathrzone was so keen to off load the forums....

Ahh ha , yes the mung beans next door are in with that crowd.. (up passed the village)
I did hear rumor of another R&F festival in the planning.
They had a few OD and the helicopter had to pick them up, so I guess not everything is organic :o

Weather wise it looks to of cleared now with the return of a stiff SE breeze .

Didn't know they delivered over here, Bunyip. Not that I can use that much, nor that our backhoe is a goer either! I do remember the fine crop of white mould on one load I had once at my former house in Port stinking up the whole neighborhood. My modest compost bin will have to suffice though needs topping up with the JD catcher mower but the chute clogs in this wet weather and my arms are a tad short.

But a good drop was had by all here...the wind is something else.

Its getting very dry down this way..the grass is browning off..

but the winds have abated and its those perfect spring days that we are famous for and trick southerners into thinking QLD has perfect weather all the time......the marchies have been horrendous and its been a nightmare to be doing precision work fitting out the new boat...but its finally done and we have had a couple of nice reef and island trips so far..

Yeah mill mud is perfect for getting some life happening in the soil...the worms love it..I also add some fly ash which also helps to break up the clay a bit..

How long till we see the first storms I wonder..?

March flies here are rare right now, but maybe I shouldn't jinx myself.

Amazing - am starting to avoid the heat of the day but yet how wonderfully chilly/refreshing the early morns still are.
