Rainfall since 9 am: St Helens 35mm (31mm since 4pm) Gray 25mm, Mt Barrow 16mm, Launceston 10mm. Launceston received a short but vigorous storm around 3.30 pm with large hail by Tasmanian standards

Luckily we live right on top of a hill
!Models have certainly got excited all of a sudden; a few days ago there was nothing for speak of for Monday/ Tuesday - although hillybilly seemed to be suspicious that something might happen.
