Progs really upping the next 72 hours. Widespread 20-50mm through central and east. Bit unclear about the north - probably a miss in the Mallee and Wimmera but further south and east should do quite well. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some local flooding in east central if the upper end of the progs happen.
Tasmania is also look wet. Widrepread 25-50mm through the south and east, and could well see pockets of over 100mm. Chilly, with some snow on the peaks. The low gets blocked and actually moves west for a period so will take a long time to clear, and could well get a decent wrap around,
Next week looks very different - hot and possibly humid later. Guess we will see. Some real heat in the northwest with 48.5C today which is probably an early season record for WA. Glad to see that heat stay up there
