Impressive clip John. I love that you can hear the hail roar as you go through the first 30s!!

There are a few clips from Ocean Reef starting to appear which shows the real intense wind and hail core.

One of the more impressive thunderstorms

Great pics Brayden, love those big cauliflowers! And those last few of the storm, wow, amazing structure!

That WAWeatherGroup forum has some incredible shots too, check a few of these out, hope they don't mind me posting them here...

Thanks for the credits guys! ;) You people are deff. an encouragement! Yeah I wanted to get closer to that feature which meant going east towards Moora. But when I saw the shelf I thought I'd get the vid and pics and then realised it was moving quick and too late to keep going as it prob. would have gobbled me up while i was driving lol.

So part 2 of the report. Sorry for the wait, finally got hold of the only laptop we have, lol. As the cell was a little way off, i wanted to go east to try and get closer to seeing where that funnel was. So the only road I knew of was the one between Badgingarra and Moora. I got about 30km's (half way) and saw this delicious view:

Vid:
(Thought I'd post it again to keep it within the report ;))

You could hear the roar coming! I stood outside and got smacked by the wind, boy it was strong! Eventually retreated in the car once the heavy shower mixed with 2-3cm hail came shortly. Visibility went down to around 1m. After about 20-30mins headed back towards perth, before getting to Badgingarra, got some run off:

Hi Tim.

Nice to have you cross over. Must join up with you guys as well as we move into winter to keep up with what is happening over there.

Some of the more amazing weather events that I can remember over there. I cannot wait to see what winter holds.

Hi Tim, great to have you on board :D I think you'll find you guys have had quite a few of us over there this week reading about your adventures, tell everyone the pics and reports are great, it's been an entertaining read and one that many of us can relate to given the recent events here in Melbourne too :P
