Hi Guys,
I currently look after a website that is just a bit of fun. We have a boxing day golf challenge each year and I decided to put all the score cards, some photos, video, etc on a webpage.

It costs around $130 a year to maintain, and I don't know a thing about websites.
Someone suggested a facebook page/group.
I really like the idea (Mainly because I will be able to maintain it and it is free), but don't really understand the difference between a 'Page' and a 'Group'.
Can anyone fill me in and maybe suggest one or the other?

With a page... each time you update your status it will show in your fans' newsfeed.
A group does not show up... and people tend to forget about groups as they don't really have much to remind them.
I'm sure there are other differences, but that's the main one that swayed me with my business page.
