Looking awesome for storms this weekend, have camera batteries charged, lenses cleaned and stocked up on chupa chups. Now I just hope that it all actually happens.

So much for the big rain event SWW and all. Was lucky and had 16mm 18km away Mackay had a whopping 4mm . Heavy rain was that close I could see it and the radar looked awesome, very frustrating.

It has rained finally 22.2mm for today :-D . Had a nice storm early this morning but it was very isolated the rain. Havn't posted much as there is nothing to report! Boring weather this month not much rain 4.4mm so far, but can't complain about the temp only 2 days have made it over 30C (30.1, 30.2). Might be in for some rain next week, fingers crossed.

We had some good rain last night 41.8mm!!!! Exciting, and outside is still very overcast so might get some more.

Hopefully you will get some this weekend RWM. There wasn't much rain in it for Mackay area most places recorded 4-6mm, so you didn't miss out on much rain just a good light show.
