The models have varying opinions on where these summer will go. One of them has an ensemble mean of +1.2 degs approx. through December-February which I can't see at the moment. The eastwward propogation of warm water along the thermocline is out of puff to my eyes and this is a key ingredient in fee...

Currently 25 degs outside in Cairns. Been overcast the past few days but we managed 1.2mm rather than the "heavy falls and isolated thunderstorms" forecast.
