Thats was an interesting, over 2 days had 142mm of rain with 90 of that falling christmas day. Our road was impassable but still a lot tried saw one car with water over bonnet.

I think you are right Supercellimpact looking at that chart.
We have had roads closed around here due to flooding, that have only just opened, think I need to stock up.

Power has been out a few times last night, few branches down. And 34 mm rain from about 3am when storms started.

only have a manual rain gauge which was sitting at 3.5 till 8 am this morning. tipped out 15 mm at 9am. Good start

Which part of town? Airport AWS and also Kangaroo Flat have had zero....
Other side of bendigo Raywood rain gauge at 28mm storm sounds like easing off

so in reading posts on past temperature data, it would appear a lot of old inconsistent sites have been moved and changed. But what has changed is there somewhere I can look at that gives advice how to set up a temperature site that is consistent. Currently have a wireless weather station purchased ...

for those that are interested Black Saturday had total Fire bans this far out. I have been putting fire ban signs out for over 10 years it, has happened before just not as memorable, that was the first day I can honestly say I nearly violets myself on the fire ground. :o

So according to BOM Bendigo temperature for today was 32, but my weather station is sitting at 40.9. But what is going wrong with the forecast that is the same for all areas like Castlemaine and Redesdale as well as Bendigo, and there have been no observations in a week. hit 45 on our home weather station. The closest to us is Bendigo but it seams observations is down on the bureau's site and has been down for days now

Not looking forward to Friday if Bendigo is 39 we will be in the 40's and I'm not far out of town. What is worrying is how dry everything is. Make sure everyone stays safe, and hydrated.

Not going to be tricked by these warning again today. Agree, we had our new windows delivered last late last week and raced out got tarps and covered them up as they are laying flat, but not falling for that today off to do washing. As for rain I could see a few drops in the dirt, not enough to set...

That was insane and yes like Waterbaby we got hammered 17 mm of rain and went to 4 fires and was hoping the house survived while I was gone
