Did anyone by chance see extremely bright bluish flashes of light to Melbourne's NE about 15 mins ago @10:05ish?????? Karl and i have just come back from sky high. Fantastic views of the storms over the city and macedon and out to wonga park. We intercepted the storm at kalorama. watched a few lightning bolts over silvan. Not bad for august.

We had 60mm here for the event. Last 24hrs we had1.5mm. I will work out my monthly and year to date totals soon and post them in sppropriate place. I am excited to see if we have also topped the 1000mm mark

11mm here over last 24hrs. Looking forward to possible snow on thursday at olinda. Will the best chance be first thing in the morning or in the afternoon? The kids have been nagging me to take them to the snow so i would hate to miss it.
