Long time no post! What a glorious way to end an epic warm Winter - it looks like it's about to drop a bomb here, I'll be happy for even a small storm to round out my time in Melbourne (have been deprived for almost 2 years!!). Very windy and I don't think temps have dropped much here...yet

Not a bad light show - managed to get a couple of pics of the fork lightning within cloud (as well as a stray plane) will probably post tomorrow - too hot and bothered to do them now.

I can see the same from Mill Park - very bright flashes every couple of minutes!

Thunder and a few very bright flashes of CC lightning here - could be a looong night! But, I have a busy day tomorrow and need beauty sleep - I'm expecting quite a catch-up in the morning!!

Unfortunately my rain gauge is playing up so have absolutely no idea how much rain we have had.

Glad to be finally home after a drama-filled drive and dinner!! Constant lightning and pouring rain all the way home - glad I don't have to go out in that anymore today! If tomorrow is meant to be worse this worries me a little.

ZOMG!!!! Don't drive down Kings Way, just narrowly avoided flooding my car!!!! Wall of water driving on the Bolte Bridge at 100km/hr!! Saw greenage just before it hit and unknowingly core punched that thing - very nasty out there!!

Currently 39.2c so not too far away in my neck of the woods.

Absolutely bucketing down here in Doncaster - big puddles have formed everywhere, looks like I'll be driving to Westfield for lunch instead of my usual walk!
