Hi all,

At Kangaroo Ground tower watching that monster over the bay. Has been persistently green for the last 15-20 minutes. Looks amazing, very strong colouring, extremely dangerous.
Flash of lightning to my south around Dandenong, amazing stuff out there.

Take care!

Re: Victoria - Tropical rain event - February 2nd-8th 2010

Hi All, Starting to look quite amazing out there. Something that I've picked up on, looking to some of the more advanced chasers out there now, is the last few frames of the Radar. One thing I've been trying to understand (but never really spent much time doing so) is the Lennox Head radar, from the...

Re: Unsettled 15th December (Analysis)

A storm would be a great birthday present! Same here!! I will be 21 for the 30th time lol Peter Awesome - me too! Would be great if there was something on Wednesday. My brother's birthday is March 6th, no interest in storms whatsoever though. Having something on Wednesday would only make it right!

Woah, massive quick fire dumping, wasn't expecting anything and bang! Rain of the neighbours roof caught my attention.
That was five minutes ago, pretty much over now.

Not sure if anyone follows this comic, quite fitting I feel though:

Amazing cloud coming up off the bay. Went past Windy Hill on the way home to take some snaps, good timing as a Leader Newspaper photographer arrived. He took some snaps of the approaching cloud, then wanted some of me taking photos. Could turn out to be a good birthday present next Wednesday, pictur...

Warburton Cell is looking amazing from here. Might get a chance to post some pics later. Looks like there's a line developing north, starting to show up on radar.
Can't wait to see what's in store for tonight!

Re: Victoria: Showers and Storms: 6th - 8th November 2010

All that my friend was able to tell me was that his parents were about 100kms away, he lives in the eastern suburbs. I was watching the Macedon Cell from near me and saw some interesting lowerings. Just assumed that it was that one. Couldn't tell you for sure which one it was though. Was most happy ...

Re: VIC: Rain/Showers/T'storms: 6th - 8th November.

Got this picture from a mate of mine, his parents were heading back to Melbourne and sent this to him. He didn't find out exactly were it was or what time, but apparently they were hit by huge hail, most likely dinting the car. They couldn't get out to check because it was too dangerous. http://spho...
