Re: Any day weather Obs/discussion for WA

Yeh looks like it will make its way across the state. WA BoM are calling it an upper level cold pool. It was impressive watching it form off the south west of WA on Friday night and slowly drifting E/NE and then, as you say, it was pushed north into the Interior. Still quite a lot of thunderstorm ac...

Re: Victoria: Day to Day weather talk

I'm so glad you guys don't want it to happen either. If this system does pull off it will create a blocking system; the highs won't move east and southern WA won't get average rainfall for June. :|

Re: Perth/WA General Weather

Hey Lily. :) You're on WA weathergroup as well, aren't you. Saw some nice coldies around today. No rain today though. Models are indicating are series of cut-off lows in the next fortnight then a strong cold front on the 15th. BTW has anyone seen the synoptic? That low down south is at 945 hPa! Have...

Re: What Camera do you have?

I have a piddly little Kodak atm. Hoping to win a Sony alpha DSLR a350, anyone have any ideas on what sort of camera is it. I really would like to get into professional photography someday - I just don't have the money.

Re: Perth/WA General Weather

They didn't mention the 'm' word on Perth 7news. BTW some good falls around the wheatbelt, only had 1mm here but its the farmers who really need it - and no doubt I'll get the heaviest rain out of Thursday's front. :)

My first post here too, hi everyone. :D
