Oh yes that was me neighbour, moaning and groaning when all the rain was slipping south, we did ok in the end here in Truganina.3030WX wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 3:27 pm I saw a reference to Truganina in an earlier post, so here is an update on the recent rain event.
The 2 day rainfall total in Truganina ( to 9.00 am Sunday 13/9 ) was 20.4 mm.
This compares well with the nearby Laverton BoM AWS with 19.4 mm, and the Melbourne Water gauge on Skeleton Creek with 21.0 mm.
A bit further south where the biggest falls occurred, Avalon received 47.8 mm, Lara 50.4 mm and Geelong 47.0 mm.
Thank you for the compliment. Since COVID-19 I've spent a lot of time to working on a variety of weather-related projects for the web site to keep the mind active.WeatherViewer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 9:20 pm

May I say you are doing an incredible job with your site and weather station readings, a great service to our community. I used to actively follow your reports back when you were down in Werribee.
I'm now only just up the road off Dohertys.
You are most welcome, please don't stop, you are doing a great job and your expertise is very appreciated. I hope you are keeping well during these trying times.3030WX wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 12:02 amThank you for the compliment.
