Absolutely pelting down here. I must be an outlier with other stations reporting 30-35mm.

I have 42mm so far

Just cracked 50mm here. Looks like it will clear here over the next hour, judging by the radar. Of course, more to come later as the day wears on. What a wet day!

Rain has eased up. 47mm in gauge. Could be another 10mm.

Might be a similar downpour in a week's time.

Whew. Over 38mm locally this morning. I managed to not jinx it by clearing the gutters around 9am :D

Easing off now.

Passed 30mm right on noon, and now on 35mm. Might get to 40mm before part 1 of a few is over.

Starting to thicken up quickly through the Wimmera, so not clear that we will have much of a break. Bit hard to read the models with so much going on, but they tend to suggest this will continue for most the arvo, perhaps clear for a period through the night then come back tomorrow morning on the frontal passage.

Lots of places on track for their wettest one and two day spells in a long while :D

Has just temporarily stopped here with potentially a little more to come going by the radar. 44mm so far.

We have to go way back to January 15 last year when we received that 77mm dumping from a storm that went through.

Excellent result for those who have received bugger all in recent weeks. :D

This is our biggest downpour since April 2020 when we copped 98mm in one night.

32mm so far.

Went out in a brief pause in the rain to bail some water from the fish pond which I had already done earlier today, now starting to rain again so I expect it will require a further bail out by evening, if it stops raining to let me do so that is. :P

61mm here. The rain has eased off to just light drizzle now. But the radar does seem to be filling in somewhat, with more coming down from the northwest.

Just hit an even 40mm here too, with another burst about to arrive. 3mm more and it'll be 100mm for Jan. Great system, and so widespread!

41mm here now, all since 9am. Next round in bound. Not out of the question that we will approach the ton going off the progs and radar. Guess we will know in a few hours.

49mm so far, puddles where there hasn't been for months, saturated tropical air, high DPs and more rain inbound.

What could go wrong?

Round 2 has started here, going to be a nightmare driving home tonight. Flooded roads everywhere, and this current burst of rain won't help.
