The wind has calmed a lot this afternoon. Light to moderate rain periods here this afternoon, but only 1.4mm so far. The rain is weakening quite a bit as it tries to make it over the divide.

Sat on the wrong side of the rainshow today. Zilch in the gauge. A mildish and windy 10C here.

Tomorrow looks similar, though increasing in the north and west, with perhaps some rumbles. Will have to wait til Friday for showers proper here.

Miserable day in the low washing the snow away. Looking pretty bare up there now. Ok high up and Falls and Hotham, but not much elsewhere in Vic.

A bit of a Foehn wind in Melbourne today. Colder air is coming with temps quite low in the Wimmera atm.

Polar air has been missing in action for the past couple of weeks.

11mm from early hours of yesterday until 10am today. Pretty soggy here now. Yesterday some funny temps, had a max of 8.9c at 345am, then dropped to 7.1c by 850am then sat around high 7's to 8 all day until the evening when it rose slightly to 8.4c.

Today its briefly got to 10 but has retreated a little in the last 30 mins or so and breeze increasing.

Light steady rain arrived here this morning, tallied 5.5mm before it petered out to become a nice calm sunny arvo 14.5C. Baro still falling, 1005hPa atm.

5.5mm here now, is the equivalent to an inch, given how wet the land is around here, short days, no winds.

Nice to hear that rain has/will fall in the areas most needed in Vic.

3.4mm for the event here so far. A slow start! It has been a bit mild - we actually got up to 12.2c here today and the month is running about 1c above normal.

Mild partly cloudy one. A bit blustery though not that remarkable. Rain keeping pilling up in northern and western areas.

Tomorrow looks wet here. Could well see 20-30mm going off EC. Snow resorts look grim 😬 Ribbons of snow and patchy except near the tops. Turning into a bit of a non winter atm. Should get cold enough for snow tomorrow about the tops.

Foggy rainy morning in the Nongs as the low slides into Bass Stait. Also cooler - feels like winter again here :) Snow returning to the alps.

Wet day ahead, just in time for the tree loppers to clear our yard. Don’t get me started on insurance 🙄Zero arguments about what’s covered and zero follow-up. Just silence.

18mm for the event thus far. Drizzle-fest for the past few days. Monthly total of 60mm now above average :)

Looks like a similar amount next week, and perhaps colder air in the mix too going by some of the forecasts.

Just 5.6 mm so far most of which has fallen in the last half hour. Earlier it was spotting rain or was very light drizzle both ways walking into see the partner in aged care, had no choice about venturing out as today is the first day in four weeks that visitation has been allowed.

Full on wintery day up here. Thick fog, rain heavy at times, bit of hail and 24mm in the gauge :D (6mm to 9am and 18mm since). Mtd is well past 150mm now. June’s not a particularly wet month so nice surprise :)

Decent snow falling in the alps, though mainly about 1500m atm.

Still two more troughs to come on Saturday then Sunday.

Hobart making our monthly rain totals so that is awesome. Still very clear days and nights happening. Cold Fronts missing in action mostly this Winter once again.
Blocking Highs domination to many weeks in a row killing another decent Winter. Just seems to happen every year down this way now.

Chilly max of just 6.5C here today. 26mm to 9am, but fine since.

Last trough moving into western Vic ahead of a very mild start to the new week.

Might get a solid cold outbreak next weekend.
