I also recorded 64 mm here. A few short lived heavy falls but mostly just steady rain over numerous hours.

Radar looking a bit better for you now I hope hillybilly? Although I always find it bloody hard to tell in Tassie with the topographical detail :?

What a night. 87mm here.

We were hit hard. Storms were mostly going around us yesterday and, after going into the evening with only 5mm, I thought maybe we might clock about 20mm all up. But it just unleashed with intense rain at times, all going for a solid 6 to 7 hours, plus some additional bursts overnight. Tanks are full and overflowing. From one extreme to another...

It's crazy to have not had any rain for two months and then get a months worth in a few hours.
Victorian weather sucks, especially in the warm half of the year.

45.5mm's for me in the 24 hours to 9am this morning after a very dry period. I only recorded 11.8mm's from the 18th of January up until yesterday here in Sebastopol.
Ballarat Airport had 46.8mm's up to 9am this morning.
Autumn Break for sure. :D

73.5mm here. 63.5mm of it fell before 7.30am, then we got a sharp 10mm in a torrential shower around 8am.

Cracking rain event to break the dry Feb/March period.

Nice rainy day here with a wrap around. Finished just shy of 20mm. First proper rain in ten weeks. Very very welcome.

Northern TAS did great, while the south did pretty well, mostly between 15 and 30mm. Bands were slow moving so a few spots did better, including the hilly suburbs just south of Hobart CBD which scored 40mm.

Awesome to see the totals around Vic. Now for a cool to cold day tomorrow, ahead of an east coast low for the weekend. That looks like an eastern VIC and TAS system, but might push a bit further east. A follow-up would be awesome.

Btw always interesting to see the reporting leading into these. Flash flood, wild storms, crazy weather… in the end about the best rain event you could order. Shuts down the fire season, gets some grass growth before the cold or autumn, and fills up the tanks and dams. Event like this one is worth so much. Just for our place alone, the 8,000 litres in the tanks is worth $150.

30 to 50 isol 60 to 80 was to low lol
40 to 60 isol 80 to 100 for around metro and central Vic is what happened one extreme to next.

56mm here impressive dump :o :D
Solid consistent moderate to heavy rain for hours intense and torrentail at times everything is soaked.

Amazing system for central Vic but far east and far west missed out, though north got 10-20mm so very welcome for them too.

Def change season now fronts more regular def getting cooler now too, heat dry and storms pretty much gone now for another year but still few more weeks of mild at times till real cold sets in this year is flying.
Bring on the heat and stroms

Chilly 7C here this morning with a light dusting on the mountain.

Showers mostly cleared.

Cold air is headed for the NSW coast where a ECL will form. This will drift south and spread showers over the southeast from about Sunday. Might be a decent follow-up depending on the track of the low.

Dipped to 3.8C this morning. Feels like we’ve gone from summer to winter with nothing in between.

Next system is already in the progs. Easterly dip becoming an east coast low. Will then be followed by a series of strong cold fronts. Heavy falls in eastern NSW, VIC and TAS. Showers elsewhere.

Another 5mm here from showers. Certainly does seem like summer straight to winter, and dust to mud :).

Worth a new thread for the likely ECL etc?

A further 10mm here over the past couple of days.

Possibly a showery period coming up starting on the weekend, although depending a lot on the track of the ECL.
