Good to see a bit of rain across the fires and for much of southern and mountain areas.Just dribbles but should at least settle the dust and give tanks, forests and gardens a drink.
Down here in Tas, good falls out west, but very little east. Pretty typical weak westerly system.
Progs are basically settled now for a week. Temps pretty close to average. Will start to warm up for next weekend, but shouldn’t get too hot. Struggling to find the next thread, so perhaps a not much happening thread is next? The monsoon looks like it will start in about two weeks, and we are going to have another burst of negative SAM which might change things up a bit.

Getting the odd convective shower here this arvo. Been warm and humid all day. Victoria may sneak a shower overnight, but mostly fine.
New thread time. Mini heat wave developing for the weekend, which might end with a bit of rain. Probably see a weak low develop in the easterlies.
