Impressive low level snowfalls through much of eastern NSW highlands overnight and still snowing! Traffic chaos on the Hume, Federal and Great Western Hwys. Snow settled at Bredbo, Cooma, Bombala, Canberra suburbs, Goulburn, Bowral Blue Mtns, etc. Apparently traffic backed up for 15 km on the Hume now!

Relatives in Lithgow confirm heavy snow there this morning. One of the best in a while.

It would have fallen on a bad fire that was burning near there a week ago. Crazy!
