Warm one today - almost 24c here. I slept through whatever rain we had last night, but there was 0.6mm in the gauge this morning. Cool change has come through - down to 13c currently.
0.4mm in the end for us today. Then a warm one with 21C, then a gusty evening southerly which put us into fog for a while.
Looks ok for Wednesday with a decent shot of moisture, though it doesn’t quite get hooked up with the front which lags a few hours. Rainfall is widespread but patchy, and mostly less than 10mm based on EC. Cold air for Thursday AM then mainly affects the usually wet spots. Will be quite chilly so snow in the alps. Followup embedded fronts for the weekend, which will mainly affect near the coast.
Wouldn’t take much to tweak to make it much better, so fingers crossed. Starting to lag where we should be at this point for much of Vic.
A foggy and drizzly night in the Nongs with 0.4mm in the gauge. Looks like a mild uneventful day today ahead of tomorrow’s change.
Still looks ok, mainly 10-20mm most areas through Sunday. Better falls about the Otways, South Gippsland etc.
Next week is looking very summery. Low to mid 30s possible, though a fair way out so might change. While we’ve had fairly normal October temps, OZ is running exceptionally warm, so when it goes northerly temps will spike very quickly.
Misty and drizzly here overnight and early this morning, which landed 1.8mm into the gauge. Mostly sunny, mild one today with a max of 16.7c. Hopefully we'll get a few mm over the next couple of days. We're currently on 26mm for the month, so still quite a way to go if we are to reach the average.
Acess C was right with the city missing out just afternoon showers possible storm late this arvo and evening then band of showers with front overnight.

That would explain the constant "I thought it would rain today" comments around the office then haha
Had a band of showers come though here between 2.40pm and 3.10pm.
Had 3.5mm's in that time just 0.4mm's at the airport.
Temp dropped from 15c to 11c but now back to 13c. https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IBALLA16
Up in Sydney for work so missing all the excitement That said, bands are pretty patchy and Ferny Creek and indeed most the Dandenongs managed to pick a gap in the first band so off to a pretty ordinary start. Had 4mm now. Catching the secondary bands now so playing catch-up, so might yet scrape 10mm for today.
System a bit frustrating as the infeed shot through ahead of the front. We've had very few tropical infeeds this year, so to see one like this going missing is a shame
System for tomorrow is showing up nicely in the Bight.
