Damp night with 4mm. The low is slowly moving through today and deepening near northeast Tasmania. Showers will increase. Looks like a wet few days up here with warm air advection in swly flow for a few days. Would not be surprised to see 25-50mm.

Another 8mm overnight. That makes it 22mm since Saturday. Probably not much more left in it now.

Chilly one in the Nongs but managed to split all the showers. Just 1mm in the gauge. The new low is spinning up off Tasmania but looks like being just a touch too far south for big fall in southern Vic. We will get a good spell of swly flow with lots of showers but the heavy stuff is now sticking closer to South Gippsland. Still thinking we will see a decent fall here, but perhaps not the 50mm it was looking like earlier.

Foggy chilly morning with the odd shower. 3.5C and just shy of 2mm. Looks damp the next two days as the incoming high takes its time to get here. Nice weekend for most except on the coast where showers will persist.

Fog and showers continue. Not exactly wet, but still adding up. 2mm more, and mtd about 35mm. Now looking like the damp weather will stay with us til the last isobar on the incoming high (late Saturday). Classic anti cyclonic gloom in Melbourne in winter.

6.2mm since 9am yesterday. A very damp day and night. A fair bit boggy under foot.

I had to go to Scoresby around 5.30am this morning, and it was quite dry from about Lynbrook northwards. I seem to be on the edge of that stream the last 36 hours or so

16mm from Monday night through to this morning.

We had persistent drizzle mixed with the odd heavier shower since Tuesday evening through to sunrise this morning. Been mostly dry today though.

Tallied 18.25mm for this thread. This thread certainly returned us back to winter in terms of cold SW'ly weather.

Another slightly damp days in the Nongs. 2mm in the gauge to 9am, and 0.6mm since. Been surprised at how dry this sequence has been TBH. Strong low followed by a cold moist swly airstream but barely any decent showers. Bit odd as it looked good on the progs.

Next week looks pretty unexciting.

Dribs and drabs here too, except for a big 20mm fall to start the month. 30.5mm mtd, 41mm for the dates.

Looking forward to a break from the grey skies and drizzle.

1mm in the gauge in Sunday morning. Finished the sequence on just less than 40mm. Ok in the end, but geez it was slow going.

Guess new thread time. In the lockdown times it all blurs and the weather is not exactly providing excitement :?
