A smidge under 30mm here (38mm in the manual gauge).

MTD is around 95mm

October and November are our wettest months so no surprises.

Quite a lot of water out there now

Another big 3 day event for much of the state with many getting lots of rain, big soaker last night through Melbourne water all over gushing creeks and streams ground speeping water in spots right on forecsat 30-50 for east 10-20mm for west

Also Melbournes wettest Oct since 2010 and only half way through month, city easy get 100mm this month if pattern keeps up

34mm here everything so wet
52mm for the event and near 100mm MTD so wet

Quiter week ahead but still weak fronts and lows moving through so bit of everything this week but nice long warm spell be good.
Bring on the heat and stroms

Mentioned was 38mm in our plastic.
FTG station car park was pretty flooded,
Great entertainment for kids on bikes.

Cold Saturday in the Nongs. Scrapped up to 9.4C with fog and the odd shower pretty persistent. 2mm more in the gauge.

There’s a sneaky little front coming in ahead of the approaching high for late Monday into Tuesday. This will probably affect Tasmania and east coast NSW more, though solid falls for Gippsland and moderate falls back into east central. Could well be the odd coldie with a rumble and small hail as the uppers are quite cold.

Btw good fall of snow in the alps for this weekend though patchy. 10cm in parts of the Snowies and upper parts of the Vic alps. Quite a good cover at higher elevations as we are yet to get a big melt event. Looks very skiable at Perisher atm. Shame covid stuffed up the season :(

Still waiting for our first 20C day since autumn - this Wednesday perhaps?

Bit of a trough today which taps some tropical moisture. EC has convection firing later in a line east of about Bendigo to the Yarra Valley. Odd shower in the cold air behind the change. Thinking a miss for Melbourne but might be wrong, fingers crossed.

Solid cold outbreak later this week with a warmish spell before hand.

The lack of real warmth is a bit of a change from previous years. September was well above average but not many spike days which October so far is running quite a bit below average. Next week could be quite warm so might turn around in a hurry. Hoping we hit 80% vaxed Friday next week and turn on a hot Cup Weekend ;)

Cracking storm outbreak for much of NSW and Qld today. Miss for Vic. Becoming a bit of a story this year. Got a light shower this arvo.

Plenty of rain for the month, but nothing much in the way of rumbles.

Another cold weekend coming up bookended by warmer days.

Cold misty morning with 3mm in the gauge. Better falls out in Gippsland.

Mostly fine now till Friday then a cold outbreak. More snow in the alps.

Big warm up next week.

This little system has been more impressive for Tas with solid snowfall well down on Mt Wellington this morning.

Yep HB, we got slightly more with 5mm. Had nearly given up on any arriving late yesterday arvo, but light rain seemed to thicken up and linger through the night.

In need of some warmth and drier air to help my freshly planted veggies get a kick along.

If today is below 20 in Melbourne it will be 7 consecutive days below 20.

We didn’t have that in the whole of September!

Another chilly one here with just 10C. Got a couple of light showers and one heavier coldie with a bit of hail.

Another strong cold outbreak for the weekend then a bit of a scorcher next week for inland parts. Could see it approach 40C around Mildura. Thinking it will top out near 30C for Melbourne.

Off topic for Vic, but on topic for the system.

Reports of 16cm hail in North Queensland. Looks to be an Australian record
