Tropical Low 07U to form later this week
BoM has identified that a low (to be designated 07U) may develop later this week.
BoM Tropical cyclone forecast - Tropical Low 07U - 06:45am 07/02/2024 AEST wrote:A weak tropical low to form over northern Australia.
A weak tropical low, 07U, may develop later in the week over northern Australia between the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf and the Gulf of Carpentaria. Early next week the system is likely to move eastwards towards the Gulf of Carpentaria. There is a Low risk of 07U developing into a tropical cyclone from Monday onwards.

Yesterday media claimed had formed
Today radio claims forming today.
