Extreme winds and showers are set to hit the island state over the coming week with snow developing on the higher parts by the latter part of the week. Rainfall totals of 100mm are likely over W TAS and generally moderate falls elsewhere. Winds of 110kmh with higher gusts are likely for numerous days and this could cause some scattered damage to property.
