How goes the infinity issue? Re: our convo at WZ? I can tell you again from personal experience that lens is a pain in the backside when chasing...or atleast I found it to be!

Yeah, I gave up on trying to focus to infinity at night. Too hard, and as you mentioned on WZ, I don't always have a distant light source. I use my Canon Powershot SX130IS for lightning shots. For $200, it's a very good camera and I totally recommend it to any beginner.

Anyway yeah, I'm saving up for a better lens at the moment

Photograph of Emu Point beach at sunset a few backs. Multiple exposure blended into one photograph. I added another layer and then adjusted the colour balance. So happy with the final outcome.

Went for something a bit different this time, decided to shoot two photos and then I merged the exposures and desaturated the photo. Hope you guys like it

Yeah sadly it was raining here.
I did head out and take photos but the best I could do was a shot of the boatshed across the habour.
