Nice and cold but the rain isn't amounting to much. Was hoping for 15-20mm, but it's very patchy. Hopefully it builds

Loving the sound of that glorious rain on the tin roof here at work. :D
It's been a long wait after all that wind. Going to be a long drive home tonight.

My temperature range today at Mt Macedon has been 0.5C to 2.7C.
That is a cold old day for Autumn.

Temp diff between the bay and 850 hPa around 18c ATM. Recipe for cold convection as seen on that cell sparking up the bay.

About 3mm so far, nothing heavy and mainly blustery westerlies so far - but getting colder at least :D

Tonight could get interesting.

4.8 degrees here a few moments ago. I see a few other locations in the metro area are also in the 5 to 6 degree range

1.6mm in that last lot. Currently 3.8c, with a windchill of -0.6c. Feeling wintry! Great hearing the reports of snow. I imagine quite a few locations across the central highlands will be getting snow showers, with more to come tonight.
