Messy Progs for the week ahead with a series of trough, and a possible low developing. Hard to pick the details as they vary a lot across the models and runs.
Today starts with a fading trough. This system has quite unstable air so will bring some locally heavy showers and possibly rumbles, particular west and ranges.
Mid week brings more troughs in the sequence. There is warm, near record warm, air edging down into NSW so if it goes a bit more northerly could get quite warm. Cooler for later in the week and more showers.
The airmass over Australia is very dry and warm so the area to the north of any low will miss most the rain and get warm/hot with gusty winds. EC has mid 30s in parts of northern NSW on Thursday and Friday which is not what they need with gusty winds
