Small cells to the north, south, east and west of me today, but only a weak dying one overhead. One audible rumble and just on a mm in the gauge. Was a doozie about 5km southwest of me and another about 2km east. Drove through the one to the east with torrential rain and small hail. Local amateur gauges showing 10-15mm in quick time. Nice structures but never really able to get a clear shot.
Great to see the bumper falls through the usually arid northwest and western suburbs. Few spots on the monthly average already.
Drizzle and low cloud to push in for tomorrow ahead of the next system for Sunday. Sunday looks a chance for rumble and same Monday.
Starting to watch the weather at our new place in Tasmania. About 25mm of easterly drizzle last 24 hours. Going to be interesting having a climate which occasionally picks up solid falls coming in from the Tasman Sea
